The 1080 is what you reach for when the legs are heavy. Fresh Foam X is soft without being mushy, the knit upper is one of the most comfortable on the market, and New Balance still offers genuine 2E and 4E widths — a rarity worth paying for if standard trainers pinch. First Stride lists EU sizing as the primary scale, with UK equivalents on each size button. Running shoes should have a thumb's width of room at the toe — if you are between sizes, take the larger one. Wide feet should size up half in Asics and Nike.
