The long version

The Alphafly 3 is the most-raced marathon shoe at the front of the field, and the third generation finally fixes the upper — one-piece Atomknit 3.0, no seams to chew your foot at 35K. Underneath, twin forefoot Air Zoom pods sit in a full-length ZoomX midsole with a carbon Flyplate between them. It is a marathon-specific tool: unstable at slow paces, sublime at threshold and faster. Budget 150–250 race kilometres of life.
